Important
If your vehicle deviates from the base or standard model—whether due to an equipment package, special edition, higher trim level, or aftermarket addons—it's crucial to reach out to us before finalizing your purchase. Our parts are engineered primarily for the base model, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The reason we emphasize this is that even minor modifications or variations from the standard model can affect the compatibility of the part you're interested in. These differences may include changes in dimensions, mounting points, or even the materials used in your vehicle's construction. As a result, what fits the base model perfectly may not be suitable for a modified or upgraded version of the same vehicle.
Contacting us in advance allows us to assist you in verifying the compatibility of the part with your specific vehicle model. This proactive approach can save you not only time and money but also the inconvenience of dealing with returns or exchanges later on. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we aim to ensure that the parts you purchase are a perfect fit for your vehicle.
Fuel tuning
The use of an aftermarket performance exhaust requires a crucial step - EFI tuning. RJWC Powersports exhaust systems must be accompanied by a proper re-flashing or use of an EFI Tuner to prevent the engine from running lean, which can result in engine damage. To guarantee a correct air to fuel mixture, make sure to adhere to the manufacturer's recommended settings for your fuel tuner.
Neglecting to properly tune the engine using an EFI tuner when using an RJWC Powersports exhaust will void the exhaust warranty. Any problems arising from the engine not running correctly, such as a lean condition or incorrect air/fuel ratio, will not be considered a valid warranty claim.
Please note that if your vehicle differs from the base model, additional modifications such as a different tune, turndown pipe, or other adjustments may be necessary to achieve a proper fit and optimal performance. All RJWC Powersports exhausts are designed and tested on stock-equipped vehicles.
Repacking
Why Repack?
To maintain optimal performance and sound quality, regular repacking is crucial. Over time, packing material degrades due to heat and vibrations, affecting both sound and horsepower. Inspect and likely repack every three months with regular use; avid riders may need to do so more frequently to ensure longevity and keep your warranty intact.
RJWC Repacking Kit
Our kits include a needle-felt glass fiber mat and stainless mesh, designed for high-temperature resistance and durability.
Repacking Process
Our bolted mufflers simplify the repacking process. Just open, remove old packing, wrap the new mat around the core, seal with high-temp silicone, and bolt back together. Always wear gloves for protection.
Longevity Tips
Stick to a regular inspection and repacking schedule as recommended in your user manual. For best results, use RJWC Repacking Kits.
